What Goes Around Comes Around

One of the most important factors that I have highly emphasized throughout the years of furthering my passion for artificial intelligence is the ethics behind the use of such technologies today. Having personally witnessed many cases of cyberbullying both in and outside of school, I joined the founding members of What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA), a nonprofit organization that focusses on fighting against all forms of buylling.

As a team, we designed and produced various types of street fashion goods with anti-bullying messages, inclduing t-shits, hoodies, and backpacks—all of which we crowdfunded twice through the Korean platform Tumblbug, raising over 13,000,000 KRW.

Understanding that not all students around the world have acces to quality education, particularly in learning and integrating technologies like AI, I have contributed to the development of AI-related educational materials for the ITU, aimed at distributing them to children in developing countries.

For I believe in the philosophy of "technological advancements for the betterment of mankind," I aspire to continue engaging in such activities during my college years as well.

Python Instructor
Over the course of more than two years of volunteering as a Python class instructor, I have realized that I have a strong passion for teaching others—especially in subjects I enjoy, such as coding and physics.

From planning lectures to delivering them in classroom settings, every moment of these classes has been a wonderful opportunity for me to interact with others who share a similar passion and interest in STEM fields.
Duke of Edinburgh
As much as the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Program initially started as a mere "requirement" for me and all other NLCS Jeju students, it has tremendously helped me connect with others, not only within the school but also in the local community.

Through volunteer acvities such as running environmental campaigns and performing for the elderly, I have learned to truly understand what it means to foster teamwork and social responsibility.

I was awarded a Bronze Award in 2023 and a Silver Award in 2024 for all volunteer services and community work done.
